Hollywood Celebrity Jennifer Love Hewitt ‘I Love My Body’

Jennifer Love Hewitt has blasted critics of her bikini physique.

The “Ghost Whisperer” star was featured on several Web sites and magazines frolicking in the Hawaiian surf in a two-piece, with her new fiancé, Scottish actor Ross McCall. Jennifer’s beach body received a few put downs from some of the places that ran her photo, forcing the actress to speak out via her own Web site.

“I’ve sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women’s bodies are constantly scrutinized,” she wrote. “To set the record straight, I’m not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image.

“A size 2 is not fat,” she continued. “Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn’t make you beautiful.”

Jennifer wrote that she should be able to enjoy her recent engagement to the Scotsman “instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles,” she blogged.

And for the record, Jennifer is happy, just the way she is.

“Like all women out there should, I love my body,” she wrote. “To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini . . . and stay strong.

Hayden Panetierre: From Cellulite to Baby Lite

hot celebrity Hayden PanetierreThese past few months, we have seen hot celebrity Hayden Panetierre in her cellulite days. Not anymore as she is seen at West Hollywood's Ultra Body Fitness Gym toning done her legs and arms for a sleeker and curvaceous bod. As Heroes Season 2 ended last December 3, Hayden got more time to pamper herself as she's on her hiatus. She is every inch of a lady as she is featured in GQ's latest issue plus her views about rumors that she's a lesbo, her thing with fellow Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia and being the next screw-up girl in the face of Hollywood.

A multi-faceted artist in her own right, she proves that she can do more than what we can see. She can hit notes, does gymnastics, plays the piano and dances with her hearts desire. She starts of as a commercial model before she breakthroughs for tv and movies. She appeared in movies like A Bug's Life, Remember the Titans, The Dust Factory and Racing Stripes.

She is working out her debut album Fallen Love aside from her numerous film assignments including Shanghai Kiss and Fireflies in the Garden all set for 2007 and 2008. She is also got a say on animal rights activism when she got a violent discussion regarding the unscrupulous dolphin hunt in Japan garnering her an award from world-renowned animal rights group PETA. She is included at the list of Forbes Magazine's Young Hollywood's Top Earners placing her at no. 6. As of this moment, I can say she had gone too far despite her age, though she must learn to control everything making it fall to the right places.

Jolie and Pitt Buy Their Own Island

Do you ever feel like your apartment is too cramped? Ever say to yourself, “Gosh I could totally use my own island?” Well if you’re Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie the thought has more than crossed your mind. It’s been reported that the famous duo just bought one of the exclusive islands that make up the super-development, The World In Dubai.

The World, is located just off the coast of Dubai and was developed by state-owned developer, Nakheel. Although no official reports have been announced, it’s rumored that other celebrities such as David Beckham, Richard Branson and Rod Stewart have also purchased islands.

Have no fear, the eco-aware power couple don’t plan on simply using the island for pina-colada, eighties themed reggae parties. Pitt and Jolie have both declared that they are going to use their new chunk of land to spotlight environmental issues and to promote a greener lifestyle.

Following in their famous footsteps, I too will be promoting a greener lifestyle by dreaming about purchasing my own island…where I WILL be having pina-colada, eighties themed reggae parties.

Brad Pitt to build homes for Hurricane Katrina victims

ctor Brad Pitt said on Monday he wants to build 150 environmentally friendly homes for families displaced by Hurricane Katrina in a hard-hit New Orleans neighborhood.

Pitt’s Make It Right project aims to revive the Lower Ninth Ward which was almost totally destroyed in the 2005 storm, Reuters informs.

The actor, who pledged $5 million toward the reconstruction, said the first of the homes should be ready by next summer.

“We are going to start with 150 homes. I mean, this area where we are standing right now, they have lost over 5,000,” Pitt said, adding that he is in the process of trying to help raise more money for the project.

“I’m asking for foundations, for high net-worth individuals, for church groups, for corporations to come in and adopt a house. Basically, $150,000 will get a family back into their home,” he said, Earthtimes reports.

According to Guardian Unlimited, Pitt, who had ambitions to be an architect if he had not taken up acting, commissioned 13 architectural firms to produce houses that would incorporate solar power and other environmentally-sound designs.

No more nude scenes for Brad Pitt

The Hollywood hunk and partner of Angelina Jolie has vowed to keep himself covered in future roles, because he doesn't want his kids to see such scenes.

"I don't want to be embarrassed when my kids get old enough to see my films," Pitt told the BBC. "I can't see (performing) any more nude scenes."

Pitt, 43, previously exposed himself in movies like Thelma and Louise, Troy and Mr and Mrs Smith.

He also said that his future in films is limited as he ages.

"I figure I've got very few films left. Who knows how many I'll get to do now, so I want to do something I'm interested in. Otherwise, I don't want to bother. I think it's a younger person's game."

Brad Pitt plays action hero in New Orleans’ recovery

NEW ORLEANS — Hollywood star Brad Pitt on Monday unveiled one of the most ambitious efforts to rebuild a storm-ravaged section of this city, and he called on others to help.

Surrounded by hundreds of parts of homes, Pitt introduced a plan to erect 150 homes in the Lower 9th Ward.

The neighborhood was largely destroyed when levees holding back floodwaters broke in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

"The goal here immediately is to see the community back, to see families hanging out again, kids riding their bikes in the street," said Pitt, who has a home in New Orleans with actress Angelina Jolie.

"I see nothing in our way right now other than financial support. I know this about the American spirit: We are there to help in a second," he said.

Pitt spoke amid roofs, bedrooms and porches that were wrapped in bright pink fabric and scattered across the house lots. The pink landscape was "part art installation, part civil disobedience" and a way to draw attention to an impoverished neighborhood that was nearly wiped out by the floods, Pitt said in an interview with USA TODAY.

Pitt's "Make It Right" foundation needs $22.5 million to build all 150 homes. Pitt has pledged to match $5 million worth of donations, saying they have raised $2 million thus far. Architects donated their time. The money will not only pay for construction but will subsidize the sale price for people of modest means.

Pitt hopes groundbreaking will start in the spring and that people will be moving in as early as summer.

"I find this place very special, very unique," Pitt said of New Orleans. "It'd be hard to picture America without it."

Only a handful of families have returned to the Lower 9th Ward, which once had 5,000 homes, Pitt said.

Robert Green, 52, has been living in a trailer provided by the federal government since returning to New Orleans last year. His was among the many homes here that were swept away by flood waters.

Green was atop the roof of his home on Tennessee Street with his elderly mother and three young grandchildren when the home floated 400 yards away before being splintered by an oak tree.

Green's mother, Joyce Hilda Green, and 3-year-old granddaughter, Shanai, drowned.

Under the initiative, Green would be able to buy a $175,000 home for $300 a month — or 30% of his monthly income (the maximum income ratio one would pay). He says that he intends to move into one of the new homes.

"If this initiative didn't happen, it would be a long, long time before people came back," Green said.
