Hudgens successfully auditioned for a commercial and subsequently moved to Los Angeles with her family, with whom she is still close.

holiday looks part I

It is getting to that time of year, when we all recieve the holiday party invitations, and pick and choose which to attend. Back in early October, I saved a picture worthy of the holiday party look (and i have been waiting and waiting to post about it!).

Before the above photo, I never heard of Becki Newton. It is very much a Mischa outfit. Curls, and a shimmery dress balance out a motorcycle leather jacket. When looking for the right jacket, go for fit, and very few add ons. Simplicity is best.

Brad Pitt plans to expand family, take step back from movies

New York - Hollywood star Brad Pitt wants more children with his partner Angelina Jolie. "We are just getting started," he said in an interview on CNN's Larry King Live that aired Wednesday night in the United States.

The 43-year-old star of such movies as Babel and Ocean's Eleven described Jolie as "a fantastic mother" to their four children - Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 2; and Shiloh, 1, adding that while parenthood is "the hardest job in the world," "it is everything" to him.

Pitt said in the interview that acting was becoming less important to him and that he would like to spend his time on other pursuits.

"It's become less and less a focus as I get older," he said. "I think it's really more of a younger man, younger woman's game."

He said he didn't intend to give up acting - "I'd like to drop in if I'm still invited every few years or so" - but added, "It takes so much time. There's just other things I'd rather be doing."

Among those interests is a project he announced Monday to build 150 eco-friendly homes in one of the New Orleans neighbourhoods most devastated in 2005's Hurricane Katrina with hopes to expand the project across the city.

He also made it clear in the interview that his family is also a priority. He and Jolie adopted three children and had their own daughter last year.

"They are as much my blood as I am theirs, and they are brothers and sisters," he said. "And I look at this: One of them came from Ethiopia and one from Vietnam, one from Cambodia and one was born in Namibia, and they are brothers and sisters. And they have fun, and they squabble and they fight, just like any other family."

Pitt Unashamed To Use Celebrity To Boost Charity Causes

Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt is unashamed of using his celebrity status to promote a new charity project.

Pitt and philanthropist Steve Bing have each pledged $5 million to help build 150 environmentally friendly new homes in New Orleans, La., following the destruction of the area by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Pitt has called on the American public to donate toward the cause, and he isn't worried about using his high profile to raise more money, despite normally doing his best to avoid media attention.

He tells talk show host Larry King, "I duck and jive (from the press). Keep moving. Keep my head down. That's been my modus operandus. But for something like this, I feel very fortunate to have it and I can direct it this way.

"It's just not part of my makeup (to manipulate the media). I'm not good at it. There's other people who are. But for something like this, I feel very fortunate to be able to do it. It uses me and I use it."

Jennifer Aniston invited to Christmas with Brad Pitt family

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly been invited to spend Christmas with her ex-husband's family. Aniston and Brad Pitt divorced in 2005 but the actress has stayed very close to the Pitt family. According to reports that doesn’t make Pitt’s new love, Angelina Jolie, happy.

“It’s an awkward situation. Angelina has been furious about the impeding get-together since Brad let the cat out of the bag,” says a source. “She let him have it, blasting that she thinks Jen’s spending Christmas with them is totally inappropriate.”



Apparently Pitt and Aniston are still close as the actor recently played referee between Aniston and her pal Courtney Cox after they had an argument. Sources said Pitt “couldn’t bear the thought” of his ex-wife being lonely, so he got the two women to be pal’s again.
