Bernie Mac was hospitalized in Chicago for pneumonia.”Mr. Mac is responding well to treatment and will be released soon,” his rep says in a statement. “He asked that his privacy and that of his family is respected while he gets well.”The rep says the pneumonia is not related to Mac’s diagnosis of sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in organs such as the lungs or lymph nodes.Let’s hope for a speedy recovery and hopefully we’ll see Bernie back on stage or TV soon!

Fanny Pak, a real eccentric bunch, seem to flying under the radar for most of the season on MTV’s Americas Best Dance Crew, but last night I think they proved to be the most creative team to grace the stage. I mean they did get the first standing ovation from all the judges… It was probably one of, if not, the most memorable routines from both seasons.I think the show leans more to the “street hip hop crews” as opposed to more contemporary or other pop genres, so they really stand out for their theatrics and costume choices. After last night I think people will start paying more attention to the crew.
