The Killers unveiled the cover art for their third studio album
Day & Age today. The LP is out November 25. (Ugh! So far away...)

official site:
The foundation of my work originates from the relationship between Art and Music. I wanted to try and create a link between colour, shape and sound. My abstract paintings are based on colour studies exploring how colours can stimulate feelings, emotions within a person, and the different meanings each colour has, and its power to evoke a certain response from the viewer.
From experimenting with colour my paintings became more illusional. I tried to create the illusion of movement, stimulating the eye into seeing things which may or may not be there. This seems to be testament to the human inclination to see patterns in randomness like looking for shapes in clouds or finding images within magic-eye pictures. The more you study the image the more you find. Each painting is individual, painted in gloss paint onto aluminium or board, each dot of paint is painted freehand using a brush. I use gloss paint and aluminium because of there reflective qualities and find it helps to enhance the optical effect of my work.

So Kirsten Dunst has announced that she will take a break from acting to pursue musical theatre.
She says, “I started to write a musical a few years ago and I’m going to get back into writing it. But I’m not going to say what it’s about though.”
I have to give her credit, it’s better than some shitty-ass perfume or some crap clothing line. Probably a tad harder to make money though.

It’s about time! Anne Hathaway had to turn over all her jewelery that she received from Raffaello Follieri to the FBI. Wanting to wash herself clean of him, she donated his other gifts to the Red Cross.
“Anne wanted something good to come out of this mess,” says her pal, adding that the gesture “gave her some closure.” Anne even made light of her trauma while hosting Saturday Night Live on October 4. “I broke up with my boyfriend and two weeks later he was sent to prison for fraud. We’ve all been there, right ladies?”

Courtney Cox has fessed up to using Botox - and she didn’t care for it that much.
“Botox? I think it’s fantastic and also horrible,” she tells November’s Marie Claire. “I mean, they’ve come up with this stuff that can make you not look angry. But you have to use it sparingly.
“I went to this doctor once,” Cox, 44, continues, “and he was like, ‘Oh, let me do it just here and here and here.’ And I was miserable.
She explains, “I mean, I’m an actor, I’ve got to be able to move my face. When people start messing with their foreheads and can’t lift their eyebrows, that’s weird. It’s not that I haven’t tried Botox - but I hated it.”
Yeah, I hear ya. Just look at Nicole Kidman - that shiz is scary! Forget House Of Wax she could be her own horror movie looking like some sick kind of preserved statue! Anyhoo, Courtney still looks great and, thankfully, hasn’t overdone the “alterations” to her body.

I’m not sure I’ve ever actually seen Lindsay Lohan drink Milk. I really wanted to title this post “coke does a body good,” but I figured I would leave her alone on the coke thing since I think she is actually clean. Whatever they did feed her in rehab did wonders. I mean, her boobs are obscenely large here - and they’re real! How does a girl that skinny have boobs that perfect? Too bad they are all for SamRo!

Guests at the Mayfair Hotel and Spa in Coconut Grove, Florida had the pleasure of waking at 9 am on Sunday to Michelle Rodriguez screaming and banging doors in an argument with a lezzie friend.
I woke up Sunday morning to the sounds of two women yelling, and one of them was smashing the door knocker very loudly,” one exhausted guest tells us. “I peeked out and saw it was [Rodriguez]. She’s screaming, ‘Open up, let me in, bitch!’”
The loud knocking continued for another five minutes, says the source, until the “Girlfight” star hollered, “If you don’t open up, you’re not getting your [pleasure toy] back.” The door creaked open.
The power of the sex toy! Good ultimatum Rodriguez. I just wish someone would teach her some manners and she could keep her trashiness to herself. Can’t she afford some “private” hotel where she can orgy it up without perturbing the other guests?
