Lil Wayne caught up with Free this week and dropped some pearls on his recent birth...
"I delivered him. I held the left leg the whole time. It was nasty, very nasty, but it was wonderful. Oct. 22, 9:25 a.m., 7 lbs., 12 oz. He's the best thing to ever happen to me, next to my daughter.â
So Weezy threw his ex-wife Toya a birthday partyâŚjust days after his second babyâs mama gave him a Dwayne Carter III. The party took place at Polished in Smyrna, GA this weekend. Word is although Weezy was in New Orleans chillin' he made sure a Louis Vuitton bag and $10k in cash was delivered to Toya at the party. Interesting.....
Weezy's and Toya's baby girlReginae
Toya's actually really cute....I don't think I ever noticed that.
And it looks like she even made an appearance at the BET Awards last week....rolling in a Phantom no less. Cute....what happened here Weezy? She seems alright....
Look at Lil Wayne grab his crotch at the VooDoo Fest in New Orleans this past weekend. I wonder why the girls are going crazy behind him, I don't see anything there. He looks like a little voo doo doll. I can't believe the righteous minded americans are celebrating VOO DOO!!!! Lil Wayne is a talented little twerp, but he sho' iz ugly!
One of this fall's most perplexing singles has been Kevin Rudolf's "Let It Rock," which also features Lil Wayne and has gone on to chart at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 without anyone really knowing much about the singer.
It kind of reminds me of those type of one hit wonder jams that come along once or twice a decade; ones which are catchy, transcend the typical love or party subject matter and are ultimately a tad bit weird (in a good way)âa la The Shamen's "Move Any Mountain" or The New Radicals' "You Get What You Give."
Going to Rudolf's MySpace not only nearly crashed my computer, but didn't turn up any photos other than the single cover for "Let It Rock." However, A bit of digging reaveals thatâlike Ryan Tedder/OneRepublicâKevin Rudolf was given his big break after meeting Timbaland, who had him play guitar on some of his productions (including Nelly Furtado's "Say It Right").
He's now singed to hip hop label Cash Money Records, and his album In The Cityâwhich he wrote and produced himself except for one songâis out November 25.
Anyway, here's the video for "Let It Rock," and also the one for The Shamen's 1991 hit "Move Any Mountain," which I think "Let It Rock" kind of sounds like a bit:
News broke today that Lil Wayne is a new daddy of a baby boy...
Word on the curb is that the young lady is neither Nivea or his ex-wife, but a 22-year old student from the University of Cincinnati named "Sarah B." Apparently she met him 3 years ago and have been off and on since. Report from Christ Hospital in Cincinnati say Weezy was in the delivery room waiting for the new arrival. I also hear that despite publicly announcing the arrival of his new son at the BET Awards this weekend, he has requested a DNA test. Understood.
To add to the growing buzz surrounding this story, word is that he and Nivea are very much engaged and living together in the ATL.
All hear say at this point though!
Update: According to Miss Info, she got the following info from a "celebrity drama insider."
âSarah Bâ-w is her nameâŚmy ex use to sleep with her too so thatâs how I found out.
He wouldnât really get into it âcuz he only told me that to basically be like âwhy would I be fâinâ her while she is pregnant by anotha nâa?â
She has âMrs. Carterâ tattooed on her chest. She deleted her myspace but it did say she wuz in a relationship and dat she is pregnant with a boy and is due this monthâŚ[she] even had pregnant photos up. So I donât know, Iâm believing itâŚ.Sheâs Vietnamese and white. Oh and sheâs a lil girl. She just turned 21 in August and this is goin to be her 2nd child.â
My girl Stylerazzi has sources that say she went to Lakota West High School in West Chester, Ohio.
UPDATE PART DEAUX: Miss Info has the flicks of the chick... There are others pictures floating around of a more stripper-esque chick.
Whaaaaa? A baby? By who? Yeah, we are all wondering who he has a son the way with. He's been linked to his ex-wife, Superhead, and Nivea over that last few months, but they all have been out with him partying. So could it be someone chick we know nothing about? He dropped this nugget of joy in his exceptance speech during the BET Hip Hop Awards..."I got a son dropping any day, pray for me."
YouTube star Maria Zourdouis who had the global hit on YouTube with her own version of Rihanna song 'Please dont stop the music' has posted a very intresting blog on MySpace, check it out:
Don't worry! I'm not trying to rap these days (although I have pretty sick freestyle skills haha for real I do!) BUT if I could take something from Weezy aka Lil Wayne himself, it would definitely be his work ethic and consistency.
Does anyone know how many "underground" mixtapes he's recorded way before his current superstardom? If you haven't heard..it's definitely something like 1293840987 songs!
I would be in heaven if I could create songs on a daily basis! But, I haven't been able to do anything musical in a while. For anyone who's curious, that's why I put up one youtube video per month/one original song per 4 months (if I'm lucky)!
However, I've been accomplishing much bigger things at the moment. I've been in school getting a great education! I am finally a graduate and recently took the LSAT exam-for the opportunity to attend law school.
I've LOVED the world of academia and always will but I can't deny the passion of my LIFE..MuSic** and I finally feel like I'm ready to focus on just that!!
BUT..I want to take the time to express how important I think completing an education is. Lots of kids go to college and decide it's not for them-which is FINE! College is not a necessary life step, but education is really rewarding.
I truly believe that knowledge is power and I hope everyone empowers their life through some sort of education, even if it's just by reading independently. Don't ever sell yourselves short! Learning is a big step in personal growth and who doesn't want to become a better version of themselves! :)
If life takes you in another direction I hope you pursue whatever your future holds with just as much passion, ambition, strength, love, but most of all wisdom.
Now that I've pursued some of my goals- I'm ready to do some music already!! I don't think I'll be putting out as many mixtapes as Weezy, butt I'll definitely work towards perfecting that musical work ethic/consistency thing he does!
dare to be amaZing -Z-
ps. I just joined Twitter so I could mini-blog about my life and music! The site isn't super popular yet but it's getting there..and I think it's kinda cool. So if you have one checccck me out (twitter.com/mariazouroudis)
This song just goes hard! Lil Wayne and Bobby Valentino take it to the beach in the video and it gets pretty hot... Check out these scenes from the video shoot.
