Just last week I blogged about Bernie Mac being alive and well after being hospitalized due to pneumonia. I was aghast with today’s news saying that he just died! Wow we truly have no idea when our time comes now do we?Reportedly, he suffered complications due to a previous illness, sarcoidosis that inflamed his organs and reduced his immune system. I heard in some circles that some believe he was HIV+. Hard to swallow as he only did have 1 wife in the last 30 years. But who knows right?Nevertheless, I hope he rests in peace. God knows he provided so many people with enough laughs to make life a lot more bearable. Many celebrities have paid their respects, but his burial has not been disclosed for privacy reasons, but will take place on August 15.

Resident funny man Bernie Mac was recently hospitalized for pneumonia. I absolutely love that guy. He’s so funny. I also loved his Bernie Mac show. He brought a lot of humor to Charlie’s Angels, Ocean’s Eleven, Twelve AND Thirteen.Overall he just came across as a really nice guy who can make you laugh. I do hope he gets well soon. He was diagnosed with sarcoidosis in 2005. It has been reported that there was no connection seen between both illnesses.
