You know your a nerd when on a Saturday night you get the offer to either go out drinking or go studying. I choose studying and I was actually happy about it. Lol, well I did have to get tons of stuff done for school and I'm working all weekend, so it was then or never. Even if I wouldn't have been so jam packed with work, I probably still would have gone studying. I like my summer class. Eug, I've come to the conclusion that I'm a nerd!
Ok, let's just have the day's goss!
Since it's the weekend, there isn't much either.
I'll start it off with the release of Skye Sweetnam's latest music video "New Breed of Dog".
You might remember I posted the teaser a couple days back, well the actual entire video is now out. It probably comes to no surprise I do like the video. Skye album is just entirely good, and this is a good choice for a single. Enjoy!
I'll continue with another music video from T.A.T.U. Remember the Russian lesbo group? Well apparently they're still making music...
I don't think this will be a hit. First of all, they should try to distance themselves from the "fake lesbo" image, which didn't work back in 2000 and still doesn't work. Second, this song is just bad. It could have been good if you actually understood what they were saying. The only good part of this video is that half naked chick on the bed...
Another music video which was released a couple of weeks ago but which I want to mention is the Rihanna's "Take a Bow"
Rihanna is re-releasing her "Good Girl Gone Bad" album in June. It will have added songs and a couple of extra features. It's basically called milking it to the max! You might recall Rihanna has had the top summer songs for the past three years as well, is she going to try and make it four in a row?
Still in music, we have the cover artwork for Lindsay Lohan's next single, which will be called Bossy.
"I wrote it for her because when she's on her game, you can see these traits in her. When she's focused, she exudes the aura of a boss with ease," Ne-Yo explains. "When [producer] Stargate and I were approached with the task, we viewed it as a challenge. 'Can we make a song for Lindsay Lohan that people were gonna take seriously?' I think we did it."
In the song's chorus, Lohan unapologetically sings, "I'm just a little bossy. I like it how I like it when I like it and that's how it is."
It's sad but I still wonder why they bother making music for this girl. The song isn't all that bad, but no one is going to take it seriously. Her previous album haven't really gotten any airtime if I could remember... Well, at least if music doesn't work, she still has THIS side project. Eug, as much as I don't like seeing the two together (remember, we all still believe it's her fault Lindsay went into rehab.... three times), it seems like Samantha is better then Dina Orange Oprah. Ohhh guys. What a weekend, what a weekend. I didn't expect to have so much fun! I was going with the "imma live in a friggen tent" idea but it turned out the "camping" was my kind of camping. Big chalet, nice beds, electricity + running water. Each association at school had their own house, and a main one to party. I don't think I've ever stayed up so late to dance. It was largely fueled by Red Bull's (sponsors) and Rhum & Cokes (wish they sponsored).
On Sunday night, I just didn't have the energy to blog. I went straight to bed. I left the camping grounds at 10:30 (meaning I woke up at 7:30 - our team were on cooking duties) only to head over straight to work. I did my two-jobs Sundays. The day shift at the mall & the night shift at the theater. You can see a day of running on a bottom-of-a-redbull-can was very productive.
Well, no worries. I had an amazing time, and I'm back to blog now. I don't have any plans for vacations in the near future, so it should be steady postings up until the end of the summer.

Speaking of new music. Did y'all catch Destiny Hope Miley Ray Cyrus's new song? Well in case you didn't, here a listen.
I really don't like it. Sounds like a knock off of Avril Lavigne. Actually, I think with this, she's trying to really go back to the "Disney kids" market which made her a star. Trying to distance herself from an older audience she was trying to appeal by releasing "See you again" - which is more adult pop then pre-teen pop. Her new album debuts July 22nd (damn 2 days after my bday.... ) and I won't be surprised if it's number 1.
A bit more on Miley, she kinda-sorta addressed the entire nude picture scandal.

The Disney star did not address the controversy directly during her 30-minute set – and she successfully avoided reporters by skipping the red carpet. Yeah, I think the best thing to do right now is just stay on the low key, not talk about it, wait until the wind blows over (or Britney comes out of her house) so the attention will be shifted else where. The other big story of the day was the London premiere of the Sex And The City movie. Here are some pics from the event. Can someone explain to me what is that thing on Sarah Jessica Parker's head (first photo)??? What would you get a green dress and have this monstrous plant growing hat. It's horrendus. It's catastrophic. I think someone's head is going to roll in SJP's people who choose her outfits. As for the movie, it's getting mixed reviews. Time gave it a 2/5. It's being reported that Jessica Simpson & Tony Romo have ended their relationship over the weekend.
Tony Romo had a bachelor-style hard partying weekend in the Windy City these past couple of days and now we know why. We exclusively have learned that Romo and girlfriend Jessica Simpson have broken up!
Romo partied with several of his college buddies from his alma mater Eastern Illinois over the weekend and he told them on Saturday night that him and Simpson were on the outs.
“They’re broken up,†according to a pal of the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. “He told us they broke up and that was that. We’re guys so we didn’t talk about it much.â€
I wonder what Papa Joe thinks about this. From the rumors we were hearing, he did not like Tony Romo (well did he ever like any of the guys Jess was with?).
