Manic Monday: Lindsay Lohan

God bless Lindsay Lohan: her career is in the dumpster, her love life is on the rocks, her family makes Jerry Springer look like I Remember Mama...and, in short, she's just a boiling hot mess.

But, she makes for good copy.

Now add this to her latest list of accomplishments: after getting the boot from Ugly Betty, the World Music Awards -- which La Lohan was supposed to host next weekend -- has decided that the "actress" is simply too unreliable, and has canceled her hosting duties.

To further pour salt on the gaping wound, the WMA Powers That Be have decided that homewrecker Denise Richards -- Charlie Sheen's oh-so-lovable ex-wife -- will replace Lohan as host of the show.

Let's see: fighting with Hillary Duff over Aaron Carter (of all people). Drug addiction. "Forgetting" to put on underwear. Getting torn to shreds in a written letter from a studio executive. Befriending Paris Hilton. I Know Who Killed Me. I mean...what's next? Tara Reid has a better career than Lindsay right now. The sad part is, before she became better known for her antics than her acting, Lohan was actually a TALENTED actress. She had genuine potential, poised to become the next Jodie Foster.

Yes, Lindsay Lohan had a career once upon a time. Unfortunately, a spoiled, entitled little brat by the name of Lindsay Lohan came along and screwed it all up.

Confirmed: Tara Reid is Confused

Poor Tara all that booze has turned her brain cells to mush. Someone needs to tell her that the writers’ strike has been over for quite a while now, because it seems the “actress” didn’t get the memo.

“I totally plan to go back into acting once the strike stops,” Reid told Pop Tarts last week at Eva Longoria-Parker’s Padres Contra El Cancer’s 8th Annual “El Sueno De Esperanza” benefit gala in Hollywood. “The economy is so bad right now that people are afraid to put money back into acting. Even the shows that seem new, they really shot six months ago. So when it’s all back up again, I will go back into it. That’s my heart,” she said.

Instead of acting, Tara has been busy in her new career as a fashion designer … inspired by “The Secret.” It is called Mantra by Tara Reid

Someone decided it would be a clever idea to Photoshop Sarah Palin's hair and glasses onto a bunch of different stars. The bit is entitled, "Which Celeb Could Play Palin?" Uh...not Angelina Jolie, unless her career took a huge tumble and she ended up doing Lifetime movies. Sorry, I don't see Palin ever being depicted in a big time movie except maybe one of those spoof pieces of shit where she'd be played by Carmen Electra or Tara Reid or some other Z-list tramp.
