McCain On SNL

Mummy-arms went on Saturday Night Live to show everyone he's really not a bitter, scary old man after all. The QVC bit with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin is decent. Dropping Cindy McCain in was a nice touch but don't watch it before you go to sleep or you will have nightmares of a blank-eyed witch trying to strangle you.

McCain on Weekend Update. Pretty weak. Sorry John but you lost us. We used to sort of like you but now we think you're evil. Do us a favor and go away forever. (I was going to suggest you take up golf but you have to be able to move your arms for that. Sorry.)

Over-Exposed

Tina Fey
's Palin impression is pretty funny but I fear Ms. Fey is on her way to being over-exposed. The hipster geek thing is a decent bit but I don't know how much farther she can go on it. And McCain's going to lose so Palin won't be any good beyond November. Maybe she could star in a female remake of Scarface.

Tina Fey Strikes Again

Just keeping our readers posted on yet another Tina Fey SNL moment. She appeared back on Saturday Night Live this weekend as Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin. SNL regular Jason Sudeikis impersonated Democratic VP nominee Joe Biden and guest star Queen Latifah as PBS journalist and debate moderator Gwen Ifill. Together, they parodied Thursday night’s debate between Palin and Biden. Hey, if you missed the debate, you can always check out this re-creation. Okay, so it wouldn't really be super accurate, but it may just make you smile! The audience seems to love Tina Fey as Sarah Palin.

When Politicians And Celebrities Collide

These days I guess, aside from being a charismatic and eloquent leader, you'll also have to be celebrity potential to make it in politics. Candidates Sarah Palin and Barack Obama have both scheduled so-called appearances on Saturday Night Live. Although I do agree it is one of the most-watched television shows of all time but I see enough of them in the news already!

Anyway if they do want to make waves, I guess that will have to be the way to go. Tina Fey has been slotted to play Sarah Palin in Saturday Night Live's famous impersonations. That should be pretty good.

Sarah Palin's family life has been scrutinized along with her fashion sense - which isn' so bad I think. Now that both parties are entering the celebrity arena, it's no wonder why Paris Hilton would react to McCain.

I think politicians have come to realize that show business is the best way to brain wash people. It's the best way to reach people and also the most entertaining way, enough so that audiences won't find politicians boring at the same time see them in a positive light - in the same way that everyone wants to look up to Brangelina and talk about celebrities, my guess is they're looking for the same impact.

See Jennifer Aniston in 30 Rock!

After a rather poorly handled break-up with John Mayer, who had to make a stupid speech about it, Jennifer Aniston is getting back in the limelight with a guest appearance on hit television series - “30 Rock.” She’ll be in good company with Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey.Seems like the best way to get back on the horse these days is to guest on a television show - it has done well so far for Britney and Lindsay, here’s hoping it’ll brighten up Jennifer Aniston as well.It would be a shame for a hottie like Jennifer Aniston to fall to pieces over a character like John Mayer. No offense to John but Jennifer Aniston is just one of the most amazing celebrities in Hollywood and she has done better than him (uh-hmm… Brad Pitt for instance) and she will definitely do better. Just look at her!
