Zac Efron gets in some last-minute Christmas shopping in with on-and-off-screen girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens at Barney’s of New York in Los Angeles on Monday. (December 22).

They looked blissful as they made their way past the paparazzi, with Zac sporting a plaid button-up and jeans, while Vanessa opted for a beige top with jeans and knee-high black boots.

Next month, The “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” lovers will be headed overseas to Tokyo, Japan for the last leg of the HSM3 promo tour.

The look of love was in Zac Efron's eyes when he picked up Vanessa Hudgens to take her out on her birthday.

The High School Musical stars left Vanessa's house and drove off with Zac behind the wheel for a night to celebrate her turning 20.

Vanessa couldn't stop smiling as she got into the car yesterday.

And Zac - who appears to be cultivating a fledgling moustache - was carrying something in a brown paper bag.

Another Disney Channel Star - Cheetah Girls’ Adrienne Bailon Semi-Nude Photo Scandal

Another Disney Channel star goes down the rocks with another controversial photo scandal. Adrienne Bailon, the prettiest one from the Cheetah Girls is in big trouble for having semi-nude photos of her leak out all over the internet. People are saying she just did a Vanessa Hudgens! Now isn't that cute, a scandal that's named after you?



Anyway this other tween idol has been criticized by parents (yet again) for irresponsible photo disbursement, if you know what I mean. She is hot - the hottest by far of the Cheetah Girls, but also quite naughty based on this photo. She can't claim virginity after this scandal that's for sure

In the images, Bailon, 25, is seen wearing a bra and nothing else. In another leaked photo the actress can be seen posing to show her backside.

The pictures were taken as an anniversary present for Bailon's boyfriend, Robert Kardashian (brother of reality-TV star Kim Kardashian).

TMZ reported that the photos were allegedly stolen from the Disney Channel star, her manager Jonathan Jason, had this to say:


"The photos that have surfaced of Adrienne Bailon were stolen from her laptop over a week ago at an airport in NY and sent to several media outlets. These photos were taken in private. Adrienne will be pursuing legal action against the person or person's sending these private photos out.

Adrienne is deeply sorry for any pain this may have caused to her fans."

When is Vanessa Hudgens going to stop talking about those nude photos?? I mean seriously it’s not like her body is a wonderland or like she was doing something pornographic in those photos! High School Musical Three: Senior Year Disappointment

I was so disappointed with High School Musical Three. I paid good money to take my family to watch it but I was so let-down by the overly dramatic concert that I saw. There was no clear plot just song after song after song after song after song... oh yeah, did I mention there were too many songs?

There were too many songs there wasn't any story. All the characters looked like they were from "A Beautiful Mind," suddenly breaking out into song and then waking up from some weird trance that nobody else noticed.

High School Musical One was pretty good with a theme to break down stereotypes and be the person you want to be, finding true love and all that high school mushy stuff. That was nice because they all actually had a reason to sing - or most of the time they had a reason anyway.

Then came High School Musical Two, where they all went to work for the summer. That was fun because it was all games and it explored the naughty side of Sharpay Evans, as well as expose the good side of Ryan Evans.

The third time around, I think they tried to play up Corbin Bleu's character but to no avail. They tried to do so many things there wasn't any clear delineating story line anymore. Just a bunch of songs. It wasn't a movie, it was a concert that was made into a movie.

Or maybe my expectations were just way too high? They were on the right track when they stuck in that pretentious/ambitious English girl who was out to get Sharpay (played by Ashley Tisdale). That was very good, if only they were able to explore that more instead of just focusing on Gabriella and Troy's undying love story all the time.

Come on, there wasn't even a real climax to the movie. It's quite sad really that it had to end that way. Also why was Troy Bolton- the basketball star giving the last speech? That was a little confusing. Then again, this series was really more about the life of Troy - handsome, adorable, millionaire, soon-to-be one of hollywood's most expensive actors, Zac Efron. I pity and envy Vanessa Hudgens both at the same time.

When Chart Rigger And ‘High School Musical’ Broke Up

This weekend High School Musical 3: Senior Year earned $42 million at the U.S. box office. It was the first (and final...?) installment of the series to be released in movie theaters. (The prior two had aired on the Disney Channel). And, perhaps surprisingly, this is the first mention of the film here on Chart Rigger.

In late January 2006, I got swept up in the lightning-in-a-bottle HSM phenom after the first movie aired and the soundtrack became a surprise smash. Chart Rigger was riddled with posts throughout the rest of that year about the movie, the DVD release, the singles that charted, info about the sequel—and "Breaking Free" even topped CR's "Best Of 2006" list.

Readers would e-mail and say they'd gotten hooked on the Zac Efron/Vanessa Hudgens musical lovefest all because of the enthusiastic blogging here back then.

Yeah, then the second movie aired on the Disney Channel last year, and it sucked hard. I'd watched the original movie about 10 times on DVD. As for HSM2, I caught it the night it premiered, then never again. Guess that explains the overall lack of interest for the third movie.

And so today rolled around, and the ball and chain and I were taking a Sunday drive. Rather impromtu, we were like, "Well, we could go see High School Musical 3...I guess?"

By the time we arrived at the theater, there was a line around the block with 200 screeching kiddies.

So we went to see Quarantine instead. There's a pretty cool part in that one where a five-year-old girl chews her mom's face off.
