Mel C Concert!

Hey y'all.
As you all probably read yesterday, I went to see Mel C at Club Soda. I have to say, the show was AMAZING! It was a much smaller venue then the Spice Girls reunion, about 300 people at most showed up. I was next to the scene, literally, Magda even handed her a poster (that some chick made).

I'm sure y'all wanna see some pictures right ?

She was right there. The entire show was made of up tempo songs. Everyone was just having a blast, jumping and dancing.

She did sing a couple of songs from her older albums, but mostly new stuff. Although she did perform "When your gone" - duet with Bryan Adams (no he wasn't there unforch) which was greatly appreciated.

I also got the opportunity to film a two songs from the show. All in all, I really enjoyed the show. Mel C has such great energy on stage. Her songs are really good, I didn't know half of them before the show, but I will make sure to check out more of her stuff. (and so should you!)

Ok, let's have the goss for today!

I'll start with this picture of Britney on the set of "How I Met Your Mother" for her second appearance.

"I had such a great experience the last time I was on the show that I couldn't wait to come back," the singer said in a statement Monday. "I was really looking forward to working with this cast and crew again.

"Everyone was so nice," she added. "Abby is going to have a lot of fun!"

This time around, Spears' lovable but ditzy Abby no longer pines for Ted (Josh Radnor). She falls for Barney (Neil Patrick Harris).

Lol, the first time around, I loved the episode. It seems I wasn't the only one as Britney gave the show's highest rating ever! Can she pull it off a second time ? (answer : hell yeah!!!)

Speaking of stars appearing on shows, yesterday I announced Lindsay Lohan was set to appear on Ugly Betty. Today was have a first look at some shots from the set.

Lohan began shooting her scenes over the weekend and is also expected to appear in five episodes of the popular series next season.

“Lindsay was on time and actually arrived to set early,” a source told People magazine. “She did a good job.”

The star, who completed a stint in rehab in September, has previously said she is serious about getting her career back on track after box office disapointments I Know Who Killed Me and Georgia Rule.

Yeah, well we'll have to see how this turns out? Will a single appearance revive L.lo's career? I hope it will at least bring her back on some directors radar. Make her insurable, even bankable, since her last flicks have just bombed.... She needs a hit, something as big as Mean Girls.

Speaking of the Lohans, did you know Dina -Orange O - Lohan was named mother of the year???

Dina Lohan, the actress’ mother, will be honored by Mingling Moms as one of Long Island’s Top 20 Moms, the organization announced Monday.

For what, you ask?

Well, there's nothing deep behind it -- it's just for rearing Lindsay herself.

“We’re just honoring celebrities' moms on Long Island,” a spokesperson from Mingling Moms tells OK!. “It’s something for Mother’s Day. It’s a list of mothers from Long Island who have raised superstar children.”

Dina, who’s trying to launch another luminous career for her 14-year-old daughter Ali, will be present to pick up her award at the ceremony on Tuesday at Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage, Long Island. It is unknown if Lindsay or any of her children will be in attendance.

Hummm..... I'm sure she's proud of it. What has Dina accomplished? Well ~~forcing~~ directing Lindsay into show business. Screwing her up a bit? Do they take into consideration when the daughter she raised into stardom now doesn't speak with you?

Now let's move to some celebrity legal fights. VB is mad her luxury jeans are now in sales outlets, she's suing R&R for the lack of promotion.

The Spice Girl is believed to be claiming Rock & Republic owe her as much as £50million for "loss of earnings" following her split with the trendy clothing company.
The pop star signed up with the fashion label to make her jeans, which sold for more than £200 a pair, in September 2004. But she parted ways with the label two years later amid rumours of rows with designer and owner Michael Ball.

Humm, I believe VB is partly responsible for lack of promotion. Also, I doubt she really lost much by parting ways with the company. I know the fact her jeans fell from 200 to 60$ made a bunch of people happy. I'm sure now they're selling, she just priced them wrong :)

Moving on, Scarlett Johanson & Ryan Reynolds have announced their engagement.

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are making it official!

Johansson, 23, and Reynolds, 31, who have been dating since Spring 2007, are engaged, their rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.

Reynolds was engaged to singer Alanis Morissette. They split in February 2007 after four years together.

Johansson was previously dating Josh Hartnett.

Good for them. It's crazy how celebrities just get engaged after very little time. Well, they've been together since Spring 07 - meaning a bit under a year. For when is the wedding? We want pictures!!! :P

Lol I was speaking about celebrities getting engaged quickly, and Mariah got married to Nick Cannon after so little time. In his defense, after seeing these pictures, I probably would marry Mariah Carey after a couple of weeks of dating.

It seems like something official right? There's professional looking cameras and even a microphone. This girl is the true definition of a Z-lister. She hasn't really worked on anything interesting since her hit movie, and it's anything for attention. In her case, it's really bad outfits.
